Free Hugs is a Campaign introduced for social acts of kindness by an Australian- Juan Mann on June 30th 2004, This Kindness event has crossed over 80 countries in the world with an initiative of giving hugs to unknown person. Free Hugs Campaign is a volunteer act of individuals offering free hugs to the strangers in public places. Free hugs Campaign signify that, there are people around us for each other and nobody is alone. This Campaign has become very famous world wide in 2006 because of the music album hosted by an Australian band called Sick Puppies. In this 2009 free hugs day was declared and celebrated starting from February 13th until midnight of February 14th. Isn’t a great feel to get hugging when we really need? Hugs console our worries and make one feel better and gives hope that somebody is there to care. It is also proved scientifically that hugs reduces stress, anger and it makes one happy. .. after all it’s just a hug of no cost, but changes many life…
